The International Conference on Big Data, Communication Technology and Computer Applications 2025 (BDCTA 2025) has successfully concluded!
From February 14 to February 16, 2025, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence (AICI 2025) and the International Conference on Big Data, Communication Technology, and Computer Applications (BDCTA 2025), hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, were successfully held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event was marked by a highly engaging atmosphere, with scholars and experts actively discussing the latest research and applications in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data. It was a fruitful exchange of ideas and insights!
The conference featured outstanding keynote presentations by renowned experts, including Professor Juyang Weng, IEEE Life Fellow, Brain-Mind Research Institute and GENISAMA LLC; Professor Por Lip Yee, IEEE Senior Member, Universiti Malaya; Professor Azlan bin Mohd Zain, IEEE Member, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Professor Sailesh Iyer from Rai University, India.
Professor Weng Juyang conducted an in-depth analysis of the post selection misconduct protocols behind the two Nobel Prizes 2024 and a Holistic Solution, and proposed comprehensive solutions.
Por Lip Yee focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on the contemporary news industry, and his report showed us the widespread application and transformation of big data and communication technology in the news industry.
Azlan bin Mohd Zain's "Big Data Visualization - Challenges and Tools" provides a detailed introduction to the challenges currently faced by big data visualization, as well as various effective tools and technologies.
Sailesh Suryanarayan Iyer's report "Data Analytics for Sustainable Development Goals" elaborates on the important role of data analytics in achieving sustainable development goals, raising awareness of the profound significance of development in this field for promoting social sustainability.
During the conference, participants actively participated in discussions and exchanges, creating a lively atmosphere on site. Through in-depth interaction, the understanding and comprehension of the conference theme have been further deepened. Not only does it promote communication and cooperation between different academic backgrounds and research directions, but it also provides potential possibilities for future interdisciplinary research projects.
